Eating & Swimming

We had Sunny start in a new daycare this week and she is doing extreemly well! She's been having some serious seperation anxiety issues, so I was worried, but she loves our new lady (Dana) and loves playing with all the kids. They say Sunny makes faces and makes the laugh. We miss Becky (her previous daycare provider), but Sunny is now in a place where she will get to do learning activities and have more structure.

Here we are at dinner tonight. Sunny is a good little eater now and wants to do everything for herself.

Here she is drinking out of a straw! We saw her friend Carmen do it one day and her Mama said she picked it right up, so we tried it with Sunny and she did too! Our cousin Loran says that Speech Pathologists say it is good for babies to drink from straws because it will help with their vocal ability later.

The whole family went swimming after dinner like we usually do. It was very hot today and the pool was like getting into a hot tub instead of a pool! Sunny didn't mind of course. She loves cruising around in her space boat and playing with her ducks.
