Bronchiolitis Baby

Yes, we have a sick baby again! We can't wait for this winter to be over with! Sunny was feeling better after her round of antibiotics last week, but now started to develop a little different cold. This time her cough sounds strained and her breathing is labored. We took her to the Dr. yesterday in which he said Sunny has bronchiolitis. This is a flu virus that attacks the air passages causing them to swell, hence harder to breath. We have to keep a close eye on her breathing now and he prescribed a steroid and breathing treatments 4 times a day! She does NOT like the breathing treatments. My poor baby, she looks so scared and I hate all of this! Mommy keeps telling her we have to do this so she feels better.

Dr. says this doesn't mean she has asthma. It just means she got a nasty flu virus and it will take it's time to pass. So, for the rest of this week, Mommy is working from home to be with Sunny as she can't go back to daycare just yet. Thanks to Grandma Carol for helping Mommy with Sunny today and is going to come over tomorrow! What would we do without Grandmas?
